Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, said dredging and proper channelization of the Ogun River would go a long way in curbing perennial floods in Isheri and its environs.
Governor Abiodun, who made the remarks while receiving the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, who paid him a courtesy call at his office in Oke-Mosan Abeokuta this weekend , also found that water overflow from Cameroon contributed to the disaster.
