One group, Nigeria’s Northern Consensus Movement, has pledged to suspend food deliveries from the north to the south of the country.
The group issued the threat following a recent ultimatum issued by a Yoruba national agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, demanding that the Fulani community leave Yorubaland within 10 days.
The group also vowed to do everything in its power to stop the movement, adding that if the threat persists, it will force Yorubas living in the north of the country to evacuate their areas.
