Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen confirmed Victor Boniface not suffering a major injury following his involvement in a fatal car accident on Sunday.
Boniface was on Sunday heading to the airport to pick his friends up before the accident happened, when his mercedes benz collided with a truck.
Leverkusen club spoke with the popular German news outlet Bild after the incident occured, stating that:
“He is fine. Boniface only had two minor injuries to his hand.”
