Peter Obi, who is the Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate, has literally called out the Federal Government to help the Borno State flood victims and ease them of their sufferings.
This was made known by Peter Obi through his X social media handle in a post, expressing his sympathy over the lives that were lost and activities disrupted in the State.
He also stressed on rebuilding and restore of damaged communities.
He wrote: “I am deeply saddened by the multiple loss of lives and disruption of activities in Maiduguri, Borno state capital which has just been hit by a devastating flood disaster.
“It is heartbreaking to think about the families who have been bereaved or torn apart, the homes that have been destroyed, and the livelihoods that have been ruined.
“In times like these together as a nation, we must support each other. I urge the federal and state governments to do everything within their powers to provide aid and relief to those affected by this natural disaster.”
