Following the Lingering Crisis, petitions, and Allegations of long overdue in-office concerning the immediate past Chairman, Lagos State Butchers Association Kazeem Bamidele Alabi who had spent (9) years in the office with no impact on the members of the union which led to a series of petitions and agitations calling for the amendment of the constitution guiding the Union Since the establishment in 1986 written by the National body.
Meanwhile, Haven’t carefully listened to the petitioner and the alleged person before the Iyaloja General Folashade Tinubu and the National President of the Butchers Association of Nigeria Osemede Adun, and other Excos including relevant Stakeholders in Lagos State Butchers Association, all gathered to witness the dispute conflict resolution, which centers on Misuse of Power, Long Overdue in Office, Lack of Accountability to mention but a few.
Reacting to the subject above, Iyaloja General Folashade Tinubu Appeals to both parties to maintain peace and orderliness for the sake of our dear Nation, while emphasising that people should always learn to resolve misunderstanding and manage our differences without allowing them to escalate beyond control
Presiding over the meeting, National President of Butchers Association Osemede Adun and Other excos hereby constitute (8) caretaker committees led by Elder Shola Adetele as the Chairman to oversee the Union affairs endorsed by Iyaloja general pending till proper election is conducted Adding that, Normalcy must to restore within the union and embrace peace, She Said”
However, members of the Unions comprising Lagos State Butchers Association and its National body also commend Folashade Tinubu Ojo for her diplomatic approach use as a tool in resolving a long-lingering crisis with a clarification that LSBA remains an affiliation body to the National Butchers Association of Nigeria guided by the Union Constitution of 1986
