The Ex-winger of the Super Eagle, Emmanuel Amuneke has been in the running to become the next head coach of the team.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), had on Friday made the declaration of the position available for anyone interested, following Jose Peseiro’s contract expiration as the team head coach.
Emmanuel Amuneke, while speaking with newsmen said, “Yes I did [apply to be the next manager].” Though, he has formerly handled the Nigeria U-17 side and Tanzania national team.
