The latest Governor of Ondo State Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Mr Olaide Adelami, who is the former Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, as the new deputy governor of the state.
This is coming shortly after some hours the governor sacked all the special advisers and commissioners.
In a statement issued by Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, stated that the name of the new deputy governor has been submitted to the state House of Assembly for approval and will be announced on Wednesday.
Statement reads: “His nomination will be announced by the House of Assembly later today.”
