The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, results.
No fewer than 1.94 million candidates registered and sat for the examination in over 700 centres and 118 towns nationwide.
Prof Ishaq Oloyede, the JAMB Registrar, while announcing the results on Monday in Bwari, Abuja, said a total of 1,989,668 candidates registered for the examination, representing 24.7 per cent higher than the figure for last year, noting that amongst the 1,989,668 registered candidates, 1,904,189 were present and verified, 2,899 were present but unverified, 80,810 were absent.
