Some unknown gunmen have abducted two people and killed a professor of law Yinka Olomojobi, at Babcock University, Ilisha, Ogun State.
Omolola Odutola, who is the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident while making it known that one of the gunmen in connection with the incident had been arrested.
Meanwhile, news was gathered that the incident happened on Friday when the assailants invaded Iperu area of the state and intended to abduct Prof. Olomojobi, but refused to be taken and was shot dead.
Odutola said, “A suspicious coincidence led the police to arrest one Awada Ishaya of Plateau State who was employed two weeks ago when the event centre was launched as a security man for further interrogation.”
