Unknown gunmen invaded a village in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, killed more than twenty people in Bilbis.
New gathered that no fewer than seven members in the community sustained various degrees of gunshot wounds and were rushed to Tsafe General Hospital.
An eyewitness said the bandits invaded the community on many motorcycles with sophisticated weapons and operated freely for some hours, killed and abducted some people before distress calls were put across to security agencies, but before their arrival the terrorists had all left.
“The terrorists, after killing over 20 people, abducted two people.”
Some residents of the community also said that out of those killed, 14 were buried on Friday morning.
