Transfer: “It hasn’t been at all what they were expecting” – Real Madrid regret signing Mbappe

By Busari Kabirat

The Real Madrid club is said to be regretting its decision on the signing of Kylian Mbappe in the last summer season and were disgusted with the level of his performance since arriving at the club.

The 25-year-old signed as a free agent for the LaLiga giants after leaving Paris Saint-Germain and had only scored seven goals in 11 games since then.

According to Romain Molina while telling Colininterview, he said: “They regret bringing him in. I guarantee that. I have spoken about it off (the record).”

“It hasn’t been at all what they were expecting. It was a whim of [Florentino] Perez. It was only Perez that wanted him.

“The club are gutted, firstly with his level (of performances), which is not at all at the expected levels, in the dressing room it isn’t great, that isn’t necessarily Mbappe’s fault though.”
