Michael Folorunsho, who is the Hellas Verona midfielder, has won the Goal of the Month award for February in Serie A, this is the first time he will be winning such award.
Folorunsho won the individual accolade through the strike in Hellas Verona’s 2-2 draw against Juventus played at the Stadio Marcantanio Bentegodi by scoring the opening goal of the game with a superb volley from outside the box in the 56th minute.
Meanwhile, the born in Italy to Nigerian parents, Folorunsho is eligible to represent the Super Eagles and the Azzzuri while the midfielder is on loan at Hellas Verona from reigning Serie A champions, Napoli.
