In response to the allegation circulating various platforms concerning Amb. Detective SAMUEL ENIOLA ADAM seizes this medium to dissociate itself from the criminal activities or public extortion, harassment, false pretenses and the misuse of personnel from the Nigeria Police force by the management of Heavy Duty and Haulage Transport Association of Nigeria (HDHTAN). As a concerned citizen and appointed South West chairman of the Association, I feel compelled to bring to light the egregious behavior that I have personally witnessed and experienced at the hands of this association.
As a trained detective and National President/Founder of Eagle crime awareness and Prevention Initiative (ECAPI) popularly known as Crime Stoppers was engaged to serve as the South West chairman of the Association in charge of enforcement of the presidential order 001 on economic sabotage and multiple taxation as a taskforce. During the formation of our structures across South West states, Upon noticing some unethical and gross misconduct by the leadership of the Association couple with numerous petitions against themselves which prompted this write-up and official reports while I disassociate myself.
The Heavy Duty and Haulage Transport Association has been actively engaged in extorting money from innocent Nigerians in the pretences of enforcing presidential order 001 through various means of intimidation and coercion. They have created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty, making it difficult for the enforcement of the order itself and even drivers can’t operate freely and safely. Additionally, the association has been harassing individuals who refuse to comply with their demands, further exacerbating the situation. Eniola Stated”
What is particularly concerning to me is the reported collaboration between the management of the Heavy Duty and Haulage Transport Association and certain personnel from the Nigeria Police force. It is apparent that these personals are being used to carry out the association’s criminal activities, an act that is capable of tarnishing the reputation of our very reserved law enforcement in our community. It is unjust and unacceptable for these individuals to abuse their power and engage in criminal activities at the expense of hardworking citizens. Eniola Reveals”
Such actions not only undermine the rule of law but also threaten the safety and well-being of citizens involved. It is imperative that immediate action be taken to investigate and hold accountable those responsible for these criminal activities and am readily available to give more evidences against this erroneous act.
I urge the relevant authorities to launch a thorough investigation into the actions of the Heavy Duty and Haulage Association and their collusion with some members of the Nigeria Police force. It is crucial that justice is served and that measures are put in place to prevent such abuses of power from occurring in the future.
