Rivers Crisis: Wike is still my “oga”, Says Gov Fubara

By Oluwadara Akingbohungbe

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State on Thursday said his predecessor, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, is still his “Oga” (boss).

Governor Fubara said this in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, when the two met for the first time in the state since the political crisis.

The event was the rededication ceremony of the 2023/2024 judicial year of the Rivers State Judiciary, held at Saint Cyprian Anglican Church, Hospital Road.

At the beginning of his speech, Governor Fubara jokingly asked congregants to suspend the recognition of guests so as not to commit another impeachable offense.
