The National Security Advisor (NSA),Malam Nuhu Ribadu, has called on all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) involved in security, intelligence and others to shoulder the responsibility of protecting lives and Nigerian assets.
Ribadu made the call while briefing heads of agencies and services on the roadmap for the establishment of the proposed Unified Anti-Kidnapping Cell on Thursday in Abuja.
The NSA was represented by the National Coordinator of the National Counter-Terrorism Center (NCTC), retired Rear Admiral Yaminu Musa.
This was contained in a statement by Mr. Raphael Towoju of the NCTC-ONSA Strategic Communications Department on Thursday in Abuja.
Ribadu said all stakeholders must come together to find a comprehensive solution to tackle the menace of kidnapping for ransom and other related crimes plaguing the country.
