The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Victor Olaiya, says a suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a female Higher National Diploma (HND) 1 student of the Federal Polytechnic ‘Offa , Ms. Toyin Bamidele.
It is said that the deceased, a student of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, was allegedly stabbed to death by a group of people on Thursday night at her residence in Dampson dormitory, Atari district of the campus mini park in Offa town. suspected of being a cult.
A statement by the Commissioner of Police to reporters in Ilorin yesterday said the suspect is currently assisting in the investigation. The command also expressed its determination to find the root of the crime.
