In our effort to enhance the effectiveness of the crime fighting and prevention strategies in Nigeria, it is with great pleasure that EAGLE CRIME AWARENESS & PREVENTION INITIATIVE (ECAPI) in collaboration with the NIGERIA POLICE FORCE (NPF) invite you to this epoch-making event captioned, TAKE THEM OFF THE STREETS AND EMPOWER THEM AGAINST CRIME the maiden follow-up event of the POLICE/ECAPI ANTI-CRIME YOUTHS MOVEMENT flagged off on the 21st of December 2023 by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun NPM at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos.
The reason we have picked Lagos State as our kickoff point, and Oshodi, in particular to be the first local government area to host this “one of its kind” sensitization program on crime and drug abuse in Nigeria is because of their relevance on the nation’s economic landscape. Subsequently, we shall extend this anti-crime program to all the 774 local governments in Nigeria
At the event, we intend to meet with ‘The Area Boys’ (our children) under the bridge and garages to sensitize them on the effects of crime and drug abuse, music, refreshment, and urge them to be responsible citizens and not to indulge in any form of criminality and drug abuse.
On the other hand, we will be empowering all repentant individuals.
