The Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday called on Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to prevent further deterioration in the state by handing over power to his deputy, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The state PDP Chairman, Mr. Fatai Adams, made the call during a press conference at the party secretariat in Akure.
However, Adams, who said the party wished the governor success in his efforts to regain full fitness, noted that the collective welfare of the people of the state is more important.
According to him, Akeredolu must follow the advice he gave to late President Umar Yar’Adua and hand over power to Aiyedatiwa for the good of the state.
