The Ondo State Government has commends the Sunshine Stars club over their win against Akwa United.
Hon Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, who is the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, made this known in Akure that the team was dedicated and committed in achieving result. Follso the Sunshine Stars moved to 11th position following the victory.
He said: “Our players showed total dedication and commitment in the game against Akwa United, which later paid off in the second half. Both players and fans are happy with the positive result,” he stated in a chat with the media.
“We shall continue to bank on the masses’ support as we continue the journey to reposition the team and Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) for efficient and better performances.”
“I still solicit for more support from our sport-loving governor and football stakeholders in the state as we engage Doma United in the midweek clash in Gombe.”
