The Director General Commanding 82 Division of the Nigerian Army and Commander Joint Task Force, Operation UDO KA II, Major General Hassan Taiwo Dada, has assured the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) for its support in training and retraining it’s officers for optimal performance.
The GOC gave this assurance while receiving ACG Solomon T. Iyamu, Deputy Commanding General (ACG) in charge of K Awka Zone comprising Anambra and Enugu State respectively, during a courtesy visit to the office of he at the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
General Dada said he was delighted to receive the ACG, stressing that such a joint visit always provides an opportunity for both agencies to exchange ideas or concepts that bring mutual benefit to all parties.
“I want to thank you for following us. I have listened to your requests in the area of training and retraining, rest assured that we will provide everything you require to enhance operational capacity as this will help promote collaboration and inter-agency synergy between the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Army. Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps,” he reiterated.
The GOC urged the ACG to convey the message of synergy to its subordinates on the need for cooperation instead of friction and competition among security agencies to nip all crimes in the bud.
