Lawyers, under the auspices of the concerned Northern Forum, have vowed to take legal action against the Federal Government, demanding adequate compensation for victims of Tudun Biri bombed by military air strikes in Kaduna state.
Recall that more than 120 villagers lost their lives while celebrating Maulud last Sunday evening.
Speaking on behalf of the Northern Bar Forum, Barrister Nafi’u Abubakar emphasized that the forum would ensure that the families who suffered irreparable losses due to the unfortunate incident would receive justice.
Nafi’u, speaking to journalists in Kaduna on Saturday, called on the Federal Government to take immediate and decisive action to ensure a thorough and independent investigation into the incident.
