Mrs Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, the Executive Secretary of Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, had paid a courtesy visit to AIG Idowu Owohunwa, at the FCID annex Alagbon, Lagos, today, 30 January, 2024, where she was warmly received to seek support and partnership in addressing domestic and sexual crimes to strengthen her agency’s capacity to achieve its mandate.
Mrs Vivour-Adeniyi, had during the visit appreciated the efforts of AIG Owohunwa in repositioning the Gender-Based Violence Unit of Lagos State Police Command during his tenure as Commissioner of Police and congratulated him on his promotion and deployment as AIG FCID (Annex), Lagos.
AIG Owohunwa responded by commending her for the passion of her carrying out her duties, likewise for her quality leadership, also assuring her of the firm collaboration.
AIG Owohunwa directed the immediate setting up of a Team under the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of FCID, Annex Lagos with a core mandate of investigation and prosecution of Domestic and Sexual Violence, and to act as the liaising between the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency and FCID (annex), Lagos. Likewise upcoming training programme of the Agency.
Mrs Vivour-Adeniyi, towards the end of the visit, decorated AIG Owohunwa with the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence brotch accompanied by Tope Oyedija, Mrs Oluwalemi Bello ,Tuminu oni ,Zainab rufai ,M of Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency.
