Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, has reacted to the viral video of BBNaija star, Phyna, where she was seen questioning police officers for filming her.
It was reported that Phyna got into an argument over the weekend with the police for filming her for no reason.
This action prompted her to respond by posting a direct message on social media.
It is understood that police stopped her car to stop and search, and also filmed her.
The officer said it is legal to photograph and record people they are monitoring. This angered Phyna, who insisted she had never heard of such a law before.
Going further, Phyna attacked the officers, demanding police action against her and questioning why there was so much hatred towards her.
In his reaction, SP Benjamin responded by saying that although Nigerians are never unhappy about recording police officers, they find it difficult and consider it harassment when an officer Police officers do the same thing to them.
Noting the irony, he said Nigerians cannot take what they serve, revealing that the reality TV star had violated traffic laws, which is why she was filmed as evidence.
