The government of Lagos State has with immediate effect ordered the evacuation of trailers and tankers parked along Cele-express/Tincan Port axis to stop the parking along the corridor with is causing gridlock.
This is to address the ongoing congestion faced by the commuters along the axis.
Hon. Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation made it known that the commitment of the Lagos State Government is to ensure that there is smooth flow of traffic and there should be no heavy duty disrupting the free flow of traffic for the commuters residing in the axis.
Lagos State Government urged trailer and tanker drivers to adhere to the directives as safety and well-being of the public are vital to the state government.
