Justice Nyako resumes trial, Nnamdi Kanu arrives Abuja court

By Busari Kabirat

Nnamdi Kanu, the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) leader, has arrived Abuja Federal High Court to resume trial.

Kanu’s trial was interrupted following Justice Binta Nyako’s withdrawal order last year on September 24.

The judge was withdrawn, following Kanu’s order to step her down from his trial due to the lack of confidence he had in her while Justice Nyako returned Kanu’s case file to John Tsoho, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court but Tsoho was said to have returned the file to Nyako to continue the trial.

Kanu is presently charged for terrorism by the federal government.

Kanu’s arrival in court was disclosed via a video on X social media platform by his brother, Kanunta.

Kanunta wrote while he posted: “10th of February 2025 #MaziNnamdiKanu live at dishonorable Justice Binta Nyako’s court in Abuja, Nigeria.”
