Muhammadu Sanusi II, who was recently restored as the 16th Emir of Kano, has officially received his appointment letter from them Kano state Governor, Abba Yusuf.
The mini-turbar ceremony which took place today Friday, May 24, at the Africa House of the Kano State Government and the presentation of the letter of appointment is coming shortly after a Federal High Court sitting in Kano issued an injunction stopping the action.
Muhammadu Sanusi II, was formerly the 14th Emir of Kano and he is back on the throne after four years, following the signing of the Kano State Emirates Councils (Repeal) Bill 2024 by Governor Yusuf.
