The Popular Nollywood actress, Adejumoke Oreoluwa Aderounmu is dead.
She was reportedly dead by a family member on Saturday April 6, 2024, via X social media handle and confirmed by Seun Oloketuyi, a Nigerian filmmaker on his Instagram today, Monday, April 8.
He wrote: “A family member of former star of hit series Jenifa’s Diary Jumoke Aderonmu has tweeted that the budding Actress is dead. Details are still sketchy. May she find peace with her maker.”
The sad news of her demise came as shock to the Nollywood industry which has already gone viral on many social media platforms, also accompanied with her picture detailing her impending burial arrangements.
However, the cause of Adejumoke Aderounmu’s death is yet to be disclosed.
She was born on March 26, 1987 and began acting professionally in the year 2008 with Tunde Kelani film ‘Arugba‘ where she played Princess Mobandele alongside Bukky Wright and others, she also featured as ‘Esther’ in popular TV series Jenifa’s Diary.
