The national grid had again on Saturday collapsed for the third time in just a week.
The power generation had on Saturday morning around 8:16 went off again.
It should be recalled that the grid had on Monday and Tuesday while restored tripped off.
It was confirmed by the newsmen that the power generation was 3,042 megawatts at 8 am and peaked at 3,968MW at 7 am but power generation dropped to 47MW as of 9 am.
Power distribution companies were at 0.00MW as allocation to districts was not available at the time of filing this report.
The cause of the collapse could not be confirmed at the moment as the Transmission Company of Nigeria could not be currently reached.
