Tension has gripped Plateau State following a massive protest by disgruntled PDP youths who took to the main street on Wednesday, November 8 to express their anger over the Court of Appeal judgments that overturned the election of PDP candidates.
The peaceful protest took place at the Mararaban Jama’a roundabout, at the airport intersection and the secretariat intersection, where a large number of young people gathered in a procession to condemn the conflicting rulings of the Court of Appeals.
However, combined police forces and military security personnel have been deployed at strategic locations to stay alert for any eventuality during the protest.
