Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, under the auspices of progressive stakeholders, have called on the state House of Assembly to declare the Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, acting governor.
They say this is necessary so as not to cripple the state’s economy.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu met with war fighters in the state and agreed that the impeachment of Aiyedatiwa should now be stopped.
With the president’s intervention, the deputy governor will retain his position and Congress will end the impeachment process.
