The Federal Government will set up a Presidential Steering Committee for the “Safe Schools” project in Nigeria.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Senator George Akume, announced this in a goodwill message at the one-day National Safe Schools Summit themed “Tackling Identified Threats in Nigeria”.
He said the measure is part of the government’s determination to improve coordination of safe schools projects to ensure key stakeholders work coherently within a unified framework.
