Defender, Raphael Varane of Manchester United, will be leaving this summer after the refusal of a contract renewal by the club and will be leaving Old Trafford as a free agent after this season.
The Frenchman signed a three-year deal with the option for extra one as he joined the Red Devils from the Real Madrid in the 2021 summer. Though, he has made 93 appearances but the United are ready to discharge Varane, as they long to rebuild the squad ahead of the 2024/2025 campaign.
Varane in a posted video on the social media said: “Despite the fact we had a difficult season, I’m very positive for the future.
“The new owners are coming with a clear plan and a great strategy.
“I’ll see you at Old Trafford to say goodbye for the last game at home this season and it’s going to be a very emotional day for me, for sure.”
