Enzo Maresca, the Leicester City coach, has been finally agreed on to be the Chelsea new manager on a five-year deal following the exit of Mauricio Pochettino few days back.
This was made known by Fabrizio Romano, a respected football transfer expert on Tuesday via his X social media account.
Romano wrote: Maresca’s contract with Chelsea is valid until June 2029.
“Chelsea have agreed to appoint Enzo Maresca as new head coach, here we go!
“Understand the agreement is now done on contract valid until June 2029, five year deal. It will also include an option to extend until June 2030.
“#CFC, set to pay compensation fee to Leicester.”
