Manuel Akanji, who was the Manchester City Defender, is unlikely to make it for the Premier League match against Arsenal this weekend after his injury on international duty with Switzerland.
He is going to miss friendly against Ireland due to his injury that left him at a risk of missing Arsenal match at the Etihad.
Akanji has been fantastic in the last 16 matches for Switzerland and has been essential to Pep Guardiola this season, as he featured in 19 of Man City’s 28 league matches since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.
Fans are looking forward to seeing Akanji recovers in time for the crucial clash against Arsenal this weekend.
