It’s been confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command, the death of Ijanikin Police Station Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Bolaji Olugbenga.
This was made known on Friday night by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command.
However, the cause of his death was not disclosed but news gathered earlier that the DPO was said to have slumped in the office and died before he could be rushed to a hospital.
An officer who remained anonymous from the division said the body of the officer had been moved to a mortuary as the news threw the colleagues in the division into mourning.
