The Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen, had been picked by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for a random drug test after all his invested energy to actively play for Nigeria against Cameroon in their 2-0 game of round of 16 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
Osimhen, who happens to be the driving force in the team of Super Eagles with his desperation to get on the ball leading to him snatching possession before laying the assist for Ademola Lookman to score the opener.
He put defence on Cameroon by chasing every single ball under pressure until he was substituted with around five minutes left to play in the game.
This his energetic display has led to CAF picking him for a random drug test.
Usually players are picked by drawing of lots for all players on the match day squad, but they can also picked players randomly if they noticed any unusual behavior during and after the game.
