The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and Trade Union Congress, TUC has declared immediate strike action of workers in Imo State over the brutalization of NLC National President, Comrade Joe Ajaero.
This announcement was released to the press after the joint meeting of NLC and TUC National Working Committee meeting this evening.
The strike action is to commence in Imo State this Tuesday, November 7, 2023 midnight, base on non payment of workers by Imo State Government.
Emphasis was made to swing to National strike on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in the government failure to their demands.
