The Nigerian Labor Congress, NLC and its counterpart the Nigerian Trade Union Congress, TUC, issued a strike notice to the federal government on November 8 following attacks, kidnappings and assaults on President NLC president Joe Ajaero, among others on Wednesday.
NLC and TUC leaders, in a briefing on Friday, presented a six-point demand to the Federal Government, including the immediate dismissal of the Police Commissioner, State and District Commanders Imo region, along with other officials, for alleged complicity in brutality and humiliation of comrade Ajaero and other workers.
