The family of actor John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, said in a new statement that one of his legs was amputated to save his life.
In October, news broke that the veteran actor had fallen ill and needed financial assistance for treatment.
A statement posted on the actor’s Instagram page on Monday said the actor underwent seven successful surgeries, including the amputation of one of his legs, to save his life.
