Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is expected to go on medical leave on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 for medical treatment.
This was made known in a statement issued and signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, in Akure.
Olatunde said during his medical leave, the governor would prioritize his health and ensure full recovery before resuming official duties.
According to him, “a formal letter regarding the medical leave and notification of the formal transfer of power in accordance with the Nigerian Constitution will be transmitted to the National Assembly.
