In a new development at the Rivers State House of Assembly, 27 legislatives has decamped from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
This was announced by the Legislatives at the plenary this morning, Monday, December 11, 2023.
It will be worthy of note that the Rivers State House of Assembly are in a rift with the State Governor, Simi Fubara following the move for impeachment of the Governor by the lawmakers.
It was reported that those lawmakers that decamped were loyal to former Rivers State Governor, Nyesome Wike.
