Anger is evident in Bauchi following the murder of a student of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, Joseph Obiaje Agbabaidu, in an attempt to steal his phone.
According to reports, Agabaidu, a 500 level student of the Department of Geology, was stabbed to death by robbers around 7pm on Saturday.
He was on his way to his residence in Yelwan Tudu, about a kilometer from the school gate, where he was stabbed by a group of robbers who were trying to snatch his phone.
It was determined that he died on Sunday morning, despite medical efforts to save him.
