The All Progressives Congress, (APC), Ondo state chapter, has been able to raked in for the party not lesser than N720 million from its governorship aspirants for the primaries through the sale of forms purchased by 16 aspirants vying for the party’s ticket ahead of the November 16 governorship election.
News gathered that 14 male aspirants inclusive of present acting governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, purchased their forms at the rate of N50 million each, while two female aspirants purchased theirs at the rate of N10 million each due to the party’s consideration for females and persons living with disabilities (PWD), which the purchase and collection of the forms began on March 27 and ended on April 3, 2024.
All aspirants who purchased forms are expected to fill out and submit their forms to the Directorate of Organisation on or before Friday, April 5.
