APC Edo chapter – No plan to endorse any governorship aspirant

Jarret Tenebe, who is the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State chapter, has promised a level playing field for all aspirants ahead of Saturday’s primary election.

Noting that the party does not have any intention of endorsing any of the 12 aspirants cleared by the committee set up by the National Working Committee (NWC).

Tenebe made this known while announcing on Tuesday about the successful membership rectification, recertification and revalidation, assuring that the party would regain the governorship of the state in this year’s governorship election.

Tenede said,, “Only up-to-date financial members as at February 11, 2024, will participate in the direct gubernatorial primary election slated for February 17, 2024, in line with the party’s Article 9.3.”

The aspirants to participate in the primaries are Charles Ehigie Airhiavbere, Oserheimen Osunbor, Blessing Agbomhere, Dennis Idahosa, Ernest Afolabi, Umakhihe Clem Agba, Monday Okpebholo, Lucky Imasuen, Anamero Dekeri, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Gideon Ikhine and David Imuse respectively.
