An alleged notorious criminal who specializes in snatching motorcycles had been arrested in Dan Bami Village of Hunkuyi Local Government by the Kaduna State Police.
The suspect confessed to committing the crime and also revealed his accomplices.
ASP Mansir Hassan, the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest on Friday.
He said: “On January 12, at about 1805hrs, acting on credible information, the surveillance team, in collaboration with Kaduna State Vigilance Service, stormed Dan Bami Village and arrested the suspect.
Hassan further stated that investigation is still ongoing and the command’s operatives were still trailing other suspects and also appealed for useful and timely information from the general public to enable the command take proactive measures.
