The attention of the Board of Trustees, National Compliance Joint Taskforce of Licensed Clearing Agents (NCJTFLCA) has been drawn to a viral publication on the above caption in which one Barrister Destiny Takon, on behalf of NCJTFLCA, congratulated Mr Basil Nwolisa on his purported victory at the NDC primary for Apapa Federal Constituency on May 29th 2026.
On behalf of BoT NCJTFLCA I wish to state as follows:
Barrister Destiny Takon is not the National Secretary, NCJTFLCA.The current National Secretary of NCJTFLCA is Rev. Alex Nwokedi, while Mr Ezekiel Onuoha is the current Secretary to the Board of Trustees, NCJTFLCA. Mr Basil Nwolisa is only using Barrister Destiny Takon as National Secretary to sow seed of discord in the unity of NCJTFLCA as a corporate body.
Mr Basil Nwolisa has been on indefinite suspension since May 19th, 2026, following various offences of misconduct including other acts of irresponsible leadership behaviours.
In effect Mr Basil Nwolisa ceased to be the Interim National President, NCJTFLCA since 19th May, 2026 when his suspension took effect. He therefore has no moral, legal or constitutional justification, right or authority to claim the position of National President, NCJTFLCA or to appoint any officer without the approval of the Board of Trustees, NCJTFLCA.
