On Thursday, the Senate will pass the N2.18 trillion supplementary appropriation bill for 2023 that was moved for consideration by President Bola Tinubu.
As requested by Tinubu in the letter read before the Senate plenary on Tuesday, the request was given expedited consideration.
The budget proposals in the bill were debated, passed on second reading, and the Appropriations Committee was directed to confer with the heads of relevant defense agencies on the proposals put forth.
