The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has ordered all commanders of the Anti-Corruption Commission to desist from night sting operations.
Spokesperson of the Commission, Dele Oyewale, said the President gave the directive in Abuja in response to the arrest of 69 suspected Internet fraudsters by operatives in the Ibadan area of the Obafemi Awolowo University institution (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State.
He added that many suspects who were ordered to be properly documented have been released, while the files of those who have not yet been released will be completed.
