Rivers Police Clears Air On Fubara Attack

The Rivers State Police Command has explained the attack on the state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, during a protest at the State House of Assembly complex in Port Harcourt on Monday.

The command described the attack as “unintentional”, adding that the purpose behind water cannons and tear gas was to disperse protesters and ensure the governor’s protection and security against those Criminal arson caused chaos on the premises.
