The Adamawa State Police Command on October 30, 2023, arrested a 75-year-old man for allegedly attempting to rape a 25-year-old man who was visiting him at Mukvini village in Hong Local Government Area.
The suspect is Daniel Jaja, 75 years old, on October 18, 2023, Mukuvinyi Village, Hong District. He allegedly invited the victim to his home and suddenly became violent in order to engage in illicit sexual contact with her until she resisted.
Investigations have revealed that the victim used a razor blade to cut off Erec’s penis in an attempt to stop the attack, and was taken to hospital for treatment where he suffered serious injuries. .
Raising eyebrows over the ugly incident, the Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, has directed officers from the Family Support Unit of the police station to take charge of the investigation and ensure prosecution. The police chief also appealed to the people of the villages to timely report to the police, especially criminal-minded elements who try to commit crimes against gender.
